Remanufacturing is an inevitable requirement for the scientific development of green circular economy. Based on the development of the remanufacturing industry at home and abroad, the development of the remanufacturing industry of China's construction machinery should focus on scientific and technological innovation, comprehensively build a remanufacturing supporting service system, etc., to create an excellent environment for the development of the remanufacturing industry and provide strong support.

In the 21st century, protecting the global environment, building a circular economy, and maintaining sustainable socio-economic development have become topics of common concern to countries around the world. The circular economy model strongly advocated at present is an advanced economic model that pursues greater economic benefits, less resource consumption, lower environmental pollution and more employment.

The remanufacturing project is characterized by saving resources, energy, and protecting the environment. It takes the comprehensive use of information technology, nanotechnology, and biotechnology as the core, which fully reflects the characteristics of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics. Remanufacturing can maximize the development and utilization of the value contained in waste resources, alleviate the contradiction between resource shortage and waste of resources, reduce a large number of failures and the environmental damage of scrap products, and it is the best form of recycling waste mechanical and electrical products. The preferred approach is an important means of saving resources. The remanufacturing project is highly in line with the country's strategic requirements for building a circular economy and provides key technical support for it. Vigorous development of green remanufacturing projects is one of the main ways to achieve circular economy, energy conservation and emission reduction and sustainable development.

The remanufacturing project with Chinese characteristics can be simply summarized as follows: Remanufacturing is the industrialization of high-tech repair and transformation of waste products. Remanufacturing engineering with Chinese characteristics was developed on the basis of maintenance engineering and surface engineering, mainly based on composite surface engineering technology, nano-surface technology and automated surface technology. These advanced surface technologies were not used in foreign remanufacturing. Its important feature is that the quality and performance of remanufactured products are not lower than that of new products, the cost is only 50% of new products, energy saving is 60%, and material saving is 70%. The adverse impact on the environment is significantly reduced compared with the manufacture of new products. The application of advanced surface engineering technology in remanufacturing can increase the remanufacturing rate of old parts to 90%, so that the dimensional accuracy and quality performance standards of parts are not lower than the new prototype level, and are resistant to wear, corrosion and fatigue. In terms of performance, it has reached the level of prototype new products, and finally ensured that the performance quality of remanufacturing equipment parts reached or exceeded that of prototype new products, and was widely recognized and concerned by international peers.

In developed industrial countries, the hazards caused by waste products are exposed earlier, and corresponding countermeasures are also proposed and implemented earlier.

In the 1930s and 1940s, in order to get out of the economic depression, the earliest prototype of the remanufacturing industry appeared in the American auto repair industry. By the early 1980s, the United States officially proposed "remanufacturing." Since then, other industrial developed countries have begun to vigorously develop the remanufacturing industry. At present, remanufacturing has formed an important industry in developed countries in Europe and the United States. In 2005, the global remanufacturing industry output value exceeded 100 billion U.S. dollars, and the U.S. remanufacturing industry had the largest scale, reaching 75 billion U.S. dollars. In recent years, Japan has strengthened the remanufacturing of construction machinery. Of the construction machinery remanufactured by 2008, 58% were used by domestic users, 34% were exported abroad, and the remaining 8% were dismantled and sold as accessories.

In terms of remanufacturing design, European and American countries mainly combine specific products to study important design elements in the remanufacturing process, such as disassembly performance, material types of parts, design structure, and fastening methods. In terms of remanufacturing, electronic products The connotation of remanufacturing is to directly reuse the parts that still have use value.

China's remanufacturing industry has been developing for more than ten years. On the basis of practice, it has gradually explored and formed a remanufacturing model with Chinese characteristics, which is supported by high and new technology, combines production, education, and research, and is independent of both circulation and economy. The remanufacturing model with Chinese characteristics focuses on the combination of basic research and engineering practice, innovates and develops key technologies for remanufacturing with Chinese characteristics, and establishes a remanufacturing quality control system for waste products. In the economic context, construction machinery companies need to pay more attention to the remanufacturing business.
